- This is a multi-jurisdiction loop, not a single managed park. Plan lodging, fuel, legal road access and current route conditions for each segment.
- The official resources page provides GPX/KML tracks and map addendums, including connectors and side trips. Allow at least six full days for the entire loop. Race-related closures can occur in January and February; snow and water crossings may require detours. The organizer directs out-of-state unlicensed UTV, quad, dirt-bike and 4x4 users to Arizona Game and Fish visitor permits; fully licensed 4x4s are treated separately.
