Location & Directions
Eureka, Utah
- Planning Notes
- BLM campgrounds are Oasis, Jericho, White Sands and Sand Mountain; dispersed camping is also available outside them. Sites are first come, first served without reservations. Water-fill and dump facilities are at Oasis and White Sands. The recreation area is always open; fall visitor-center hours are Friday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Cell coverage is limited. Visitor-center Wi-Fi only supports Recreation.gov access; it is not general campground internet. Sand Mountain’s nearly 700-foot height is a landform dimension, not trail mileage.
